TRACING HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL LINES
This workbook helps children develop graphomotor skills through structured tracing activities featuring horizontal and vertical dotted lines. The activities provide focused practice in controlling basic pencil movements while strengthening the connection between visual information and motor actions.
Children trace lines of varying lengths by following a sequence of dots, encouraging accurate and controlled hand movements. To maximize the developmental benefits of the activities, children should keep the paper in a fixed position and avoid rotating it while tracing. Whenever possible, they should be encouraged to complete each line in a single continuous stroke without lifting the pencil.

How the Difficulty Progresses
The worksheets are arranged in a gradual sequence designed to support the progressive development of graphomotor skills. Difficulty increases in two ways:
The lines become progressively longer, requiring greater attention, movement control, and consistency over extended distances.
The spacing between the dots gradually increases, reducing visual support and requiring children to rely more on visual-motor integration, spatial judgment, and motor planning.
This structured progression allows children to build confidence while steadily improving the precision and fluency of their pencil movements.
